Chicago News: New Chapter Leadership and Updates
I hope this finds all you Chicagoans enjoying the sudden spring weather! Speaking of new seasons, I want to share a VERY exciting announcement with you for our YAO – Chicago chapter.
First, a quick preface. I’ve marveled at how our YAO chapter continues growing in size, activity and GREAT members with lots of energy and ideas.
I’m very pleased to announce that Sara Freer has accepted the offer to serve as co-chair of YAO – Chicago! Sara is a seasoned, dedicated YAO member. In addition to Sara’s in-depth understanding of microfinance–having traveled to Tanzania with Opportunity last summer–she brings strong executive leadership skills to our YAO initiatives. She will also continue to serve as treasurer for the chapter. Our core team members all agree that Sara will be a great asset in her new role.
