Welcome to the New York chapter of Young Ambassadors for Opportunity, a supporter of Opportunity International. If you live in the New York area, we hope that you will consider joining our team of young professionals passionate about microfinance.
Our mission is twofold: to raise awareness in the New York community about the life changing power of microfinance, and to fundraise for Opportunity’s microfinance services in Tanzania. We have many events planned for 2011, and we hope you will join us for them.
We will be holding our monthly chapter meetings on the last Wednesday of every month. We welcome all who are interested in becoming involved in the New York chapter to please contact us.
