Rosemary Namande is an Opportunity International client and proprietress of the Nadulu Infant Primary School in Kampala, Uganda. Through loans from Opportunity Uganda, she has expanded her school and orphanage, building five permanent buildings, employing 69 staff, and educating and caring for more than 900 children, about half of whom are orphans. She also offers treatment at the school to 15 children who were born with HIV. Rosemary also chairs her local women’s council, helping to empower other women entrepreneurs in her community.
