What We’re Pinning: FUNdraisers

Every non-profit needs donors and fundraisers to survive. But it’s the most fun when the donors become fundraisers, and use their creativity to raise support for a cause they really care about. This week, we pinned a few of our favorite fundraising ideas that were done for Opportunity, or that we just thought looked like fun! YAO-LA member Alison Oviedo ran in the mud with friends to celebrate graduation and raise money for Opportunity.	In February 2011, 29 young professionals jumped out of a plane to raise funds and awareness for Opportunity.
For one week our online communications director Ian spent only $1.50 per day on food in support of Opportunity.	See how Opportunity and other orgs are using Pinterest to raise funds and support.
Stores in Washington set up tables and stands downtown and encouraged kids to come sell lemonade for a charitable cause.	The DON-8R runs on donations–if you see it in your city, give to keep it moving.
