Campus Coordinator Position

Opportunity International, one of the world’s leading microfinance providers, is partnering with students as Campus Coordinators (CC). We are looking for talented leaders on high school and university campuses who will educate a generation on the sustainable and innovative model of microfinance, empowering those living in poverty.

The CC is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who will serve as a liaison to Opportunity International, responsible for organizing and leading campus activities and campaigns to promote awareness of Opportunity and to raise funds for microloans to entrepreneurs. The CC position is a volunteer-based, unpaid position that will strengthen your leadership skills and enhance your ability to make a difference in the world. This role requires creativity and motivation, and will provide a tangible learning experience working with a leading international nonprofit.

Teach children how microfinance transforms lives. The curriculum based on the book One Hen brings the lessons of microfinance and small business to life in the classroom. It tells the true story of Kwabena Darko, an entrepreneur who received a microfinance loan more than 40 years ago and is now the largest chicken farmer in West Africa.
